See what level your at - Ocean Grove is a great beach to take the family, teach the kids about the surf and to learn to surf. It's not "Pipeline" and never will be, it's a reasonably safe beach to learn to surf at without putting yourself at too much risk. If you’re looking for a more adventurist wave or are an experienced surfer there are plenty of other breaks on the surf coast that cater for you. If you are learning to surf or want to teach the kids about safety in the surf in reasonably tame environment then it's pretty hard to go past Ocean Grove.
